Adjustment XYZ vs XY+Z

Hi,

We would like to know if the default adjustement of JAG3D was done in XYZ or XY+Z.

we believe that for a monitoring application where settling is expected, the XY+Z adjustment is more suitable. Indeed, it makes it possible to identify only the Z component and not to have disturbances due to inaccuracies on the XY coordinates.
Do you validate this?

Does JAG3D allow XY+Z adjustment? In the options it doesn't seem immediate

Many thanks,

Regards

Adjustment XYZ vs XY+Z

Hello Antoine,

We would like to know if the default adjustement of JAG3D was done in XYZ or XY+Z.

There is no default. If observations allow a spatial network adjustment, for instance by providing slope distances or zenith angles, JAG3D will adjust a spatial XYZ network. If a network consists of set of directions, horizontal distances and leveling date, the adjustment is of XY+Z type. So, depending on the data, JAG3D adjusts a spatial network, a horizontal network, a leveling network or a combined network (XY+Z).

Kind regards
Micha
