I've got a project that includes direction sets. For each set I mostly ignore additional parameter and let JAG3D calculate it. But now I need to have statistical tests to be checked in the final report and obvoiusly setting 0 as the orientation parameter is not correct. The software can calculate everything else right, but orientations do fail the statistical tests.

Because of this I've calculated them for each set from azimuths of datum points (only datum points in the project), and the statistical tests still fail. I even tried running the adjustment with the orientation parameters set to 0 and then take those calculated values and plug them back and readjust. Still fails, even in the latest version. I am wondering that happens with that and why those tests fail.

Also why do I need to enter them in the arcseconds and not in the degrees?
