problem with importing points

Hi,
I am new user of the JAG3D, I would like to ask you about importing data with angles and distance, is that possible to import points not with coordinates(X,Y,Z) and with angles+distance?

problem with importing points

Hello,

I'm not sure about your question. JAG3D (network adjustment) supports point import as well as measurement imports. A point must be specified by Cartesian coordinates. Observations are e.g. distances, direction etc.

is that possible to import points not with coordinates(X,Y,Z) and with angles+distance?

Whereas Cartesian coordinates are related to an absolute frame (datum), polar observations defines relative relations between two Cartesian coordinates. For that reason, it makes not sens to import points in polar representation. Here, you find some examples that are supported by JAG3D.

/Micha
