Data report ordre

Hi Micha,
The printing order of the various categories of angles and distances, I believe, is dictated by the order of data loading.
Isn't there a way to arrange the data in the report according to the order of the various items chosen in the editor?
Thanks for your kind response.

Data report order

Hello Amedeo,

The printing order of the various categories of angles and distances, I believe, is dictated by the order of data loading.

Yes because it is (mostly) the chronological order of the measurement process itself. Each entry has an ID which is used to order the observations.

Isn't there a way to arrange the data in the report according to the order of the various items chosen in the editor?

Unfortunately no, because some options, e.g. row sorting, are done by UI editor components but not stored to the database. The report is generated from the information stored in the database and independent of the editor. This design allows to include the adjustment core and the report generator of JAG3D to any application having its own user-interface.

Kind regards
Micha
