JAG3D on small screen computers

Hello Michael

Is there any way to run JAG3D (or more specificly Formfitting Toolbox) on a small screen?

I have a PocketC.H.I.P. computer, and it would be an ideal field computer for fitting circles, lines etc,if FFT could be made to run on a 480*270 screen.

I have tried recompiling the program, but not being a programmer didn't have success. I did get JAG3D to run at this screen size, but not FFT.

A stand alone FFT might be a solution, as network adjustment in the field is not my normal practice.

FormFittingToolbox on small screen computers

Hi Jofe,

A stand alone FFT might be a solution, as network adjustment in the field is not my normal practice.

I will provide a stand-alone application of FFT within this week. I will remove the this.setMinimumSize statement, which prevents the downsizing of the user-interface.

regards
Micha

Stand alone version of FormFittingToolbox for small screens

Hi Jofe,

A stand alone FFT might be a solution, as network adjustment in the field is not my normal practice.

I compile a stand-alone version of the FormFittingToolbox. I removed the min. size restriction and wrapped the setting pane into a scroll pane to avoid label overlapping. You can download this modified version here.

kind regards
Micha

Hi Micha

Thank you. I have been using JAG3D and FFT for about 5 years, and there is really nothing to match it in FOSS. Thank you for all the work and time you have put into it over the years.

Jofe
