Spatial Helmert Transformation (reply)

Hello Kevin,

My question is how to use those parameters to transform another file of points in the source system.

Just add your fifteen homologous points to the source and target system file, respectively. CoordTrans derives the transformation parameters (using these fifteen points) and transforms all given points of the source system. The source system file should contain the fifteen homologous points as well as the points to be transform.

Spatial Helmert Transformation

I have a question about coordinate transformations.
I have determined 7 Helmert parameters using 15 points in your program with source and target files in Cartesian X Y Z.
In the report the source file points are shown as transformed and these agree exactly with ones calculated from parameters developed by Sevenpar by Killet.

My question is how to use those parameters to transform another file of points in the source system.
I have looked at your coordinate converter which allows for entry of the parameters but seems to expect points in lat and Long from a named system, and there is no file option.
